General Service Single-Phase Rate Code A

Applicable to all member owners of the Garland Light & Power Co. for general purpose single-phase service, provided that the rating of individual single-phase motors served hereunder shall not exceed ten horsepower (10 hp) and that the installed transformer capacity is 25 kVA or less.

Availability: Available to member owners of the company in all areas served by the company’s system, for single-phase service.

Basic Charge per meter - $50.00
Energy Charge per kWh - $0.1314

Irrigation Rate Code B

Available to member owners of the Garland Light & Power Co. in all areas served by the company’s system for irrigation pumping where single-phase or three-phase service is available or it is feasible to provide it, and provided that the rating of single-phase motors served hereunder shall not exceed ten horsepower (10 hp).

Basic charge per meter per year:
- 25 Horsepower or less - $350.00
- Over 25 Horsepower - $650.00
- Horsepower charge per installed HP per year - $20.00
Energy Charge
- First 150 kWh per HP - $0.1700
- Next 150 kWh per HP - $0.1700
- Over 300 kWh per HP - $0.1700

Throughout the company’s service area, subject to the rules and regulations of the company and of the regulatory authorities.

General Service Over 25 KVA Rate Code C

Applicable to member owners of the Garland Light & Power Co. in all areas served by the company’s system to the extent that appropriate facilities exist or it is feasible to install them, for general purpose loads in excess of 25 kVA of installed transformer capacity.

Availability: Available to member owners of the Company in all areas served by the company’s system for general usage where single-phase or three-phase service is available.
